The handy stick…. great for leaning on while waiting, for pointing out one cow in a mob, and for keeping cattle walking up the race as they load onto the truck (these were weaners heading back to the house yards for hay and education) because if some stop walking and a gap appears, some of those already on the truck invariably decide to come back off the truck and the whole process gets a bit chaotic!
